With the fall high school sports season now underway, staff at the Houlton Pioneer Times, The Star-Herald, the Aroostook Republican and News and the St. John Valley Times are seeking help from coaches and managers in reporting results in a timely manner.

The Viking girls soccer team may have a youthful roster which includes only two seniors, but several starters return to try to execute a turnaround after last year’s 2-11-1 campaign.
The Beavers have revived the cross country program after not competing in 2021 and have 12 boys and six girls competing for eighth-year coach Kolbie Churchill.
With Anna Jandreau returning for her senior season and a solid mix of experienced and young runners filling the remainder of the roster, fourth-year coach Mandy Graham said she is looking forward to this year’s Wildcat girls’ cross country season.
