Houlton/GHCA cross country opens seasons at Ellsworth Invitational

Our cross country runners showcased their remarkable talent and determination at the Ellsworth Invitational Saturday, Sept. 2. Competing on a challenging two-lap course, which featured a substantial hill runners had to conquer twice each lap, Houlton/GHCA athletes demonstrated grit and determination in this highly competitive regular season opening meet.

Alton McQuade Mars Hill Open results

The 21st annual Mars Hill Open was held on Aug. 12-13 at the Mars Hill Country Club. This event was sponsored by the Mars Hill Rotary Club. Over 100 golfers enjoyed the warm weather, beautiful scenery as they went around the course, and renewing or making new friends.
