Physician says vaccine could bring County closer to normalcy by late spring

Following a month of public vaccination clinics, Jay Reynolds, family medicine physician at Northern Light A.R. Gould Hospital, said if enough people in central Aroostook receive their second COVID-19 shots in the coming months, the region could see some return to normalcy by the end of May.

U.S. Army veteran worked in great woods of northern Maine

Milo, Maine native Edward Ouellet, his parents and his large family of nine siblings moved a couple hours north to Ashland when Ed was 12. His parents, Alphonse and Avril, traveled often with the children, as they made a living with a hot dog stand that they brought to fairs and other events throughout the state.
