The past few weeks have been very busy at The Ark and we are happy to announce that the outdoor cat pens are now open. Our kitties are loving the fresh air and sunshine and can hardly wait to get let out in the mornings.

On June 10 the Central Aroostook Humane Society will hold our popular annual Paws for the Cause fundraiser.

The Central Aroostook Kennel Club will be hosting Therapy Dog International testing on Saturday, August 12, 2017, at the Presque Isle Inn and Convention Center.
Just a reminder that Saturday, June 10, is our popular “Paws for the Cause Walk.” Registration will start at 9:30 a.m. with the walk starting at 10, rain or shine.
A brother and sister team originally from Down East are the new owners of the Presque Isle Animal Hospital and veterinary practices in Caribou and Houlton.
Charlie, a 3-year old black and white neutered male cat, is living at the Halfway Home Pet Rescue Adoption Center in Caribou. He has his medical completed and awaits his new home.
