We are just days away from our biggest event of the year. This Saturday, Nov. 11, we will be hosting our eighth annual Toast to the Animals at the Presque Isle Inn & Convention Center.
We are currently feeding 66 cats at the Ark which are inside and another 10 to 15 outside that are feral. At times it can be a bit overwhelming. We have had straw and styrofoam coolers and a heated water bucket donated to help us care for the ferals this winter
David is an approximately 8-month-old Russian Blue male domestic shorthair who is residing in a Halfway Home Pet Rescue Foster Home.

Every morning somewhere between 5 and 6 a.m. the lights go on at the sanctuary and the day begins. We currently are housing over 60 cats, but that is not the focus of this article.
