Mapleton sees high voter turnout

The Town of Mapleton saw one of its highest voter turnouts on Election Day. The town has 1,500-plus registered voters and approximately 1191 voters cast ballots in person or by absentee ballot.

When you adopt a pet

Our move will be much easier with fewer pets to move, and because we have so many dogs, the Central Aroostook Humane Society has decided that for the month of November, we will be offering all dog adoptions for a $25 flat fee.
