A story with a smile

​​To the editor:
Of all the challenges I have faced in life none have given me more problems than trying to understand the female mind. My most recent puzzlement was my other half’s logic on not letting me have the face plate for the radio in my car. The face plate on some radios is a front plate of the radio that can be removed to make the radio useless, thus not worth stealing.

Right to choose

To the editor: I’ve felt the need to write about the current abortion legislation. So far all I’ve read are reasons to be against it or reasons as to why it’s wrong for Maine. But I have seen nothing defending not only this bill, but the women that it is meant for.

Another perspective on choosing life

To the editor: The abortion expanding debate has many individuals taking part.  Some hold the position that there might be good reasons to permit abortion in the first weeks for a limited set of reasons, such as the health of the woman or rape.  Both sides might be able to agree to this.
