Scovill was named special investigator — C. Gerald Scovill of Lubec had been engaged by the Sheriff Department of Aroostook County as special investigator according to Sheriff Jasper Lycette.

County Deputy’s Association president — Sheriff Jasper Lycette was re-elected president of the Aroostook County Deputy’s Association at a meeting held June 10 at the Hotel. Commander George Baker of Houlton  was elected secretary treasurer.
