Applications are now being accepted for the Aroostook Civic Academy, a volunteer-driven initiative launched two years ago by the Aroostook Agency on Aging.
Cary Medical Center’s Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation program has been improving the quality of life for patients in Aroostook County since it began in 1996. Clinical staff serving the program have combined nursing experience of 179 years.
Aroostook could see temperatures peak at 50 degrees Wednesday, with rain moving in for the latter half of the week. At this time, there are no snow storms predicted for the next two weeks.
The decision came after a lengthy meeting that included a live-streamed presentation from JetBlue and an in-person address from United representatives.
For many years, staff and providers at Northern Light AR Gould Hospital have had the opportunity to take part in a “Casual for a Cause” program, donating funds to support worthy causes and in return for dressing down one Friday each month. The program is being revamped in 2024 to double both the amount donated and the number of casual days.
