United Way of Aroostook is once again partnering with Townsquare Media to host the High Five Turkey Drive that has yearly brought thousands of dollars to Aroostook County food pantries during Thanksgiving.
On Saturday, Oct. 15 NMCC held a pinning ceremony for the practical nursing students that began their training in January. The PN program is a 9-month grant-funded certificate program supported by the Maine Jobs and Recovery Plan.

During Aroostook Recovery Center of Hope’s grand reopening on Saturday, Oct. 22, Link for Hope presented ARCH with a check for $3,835. The funds have been set aside to support the needs of ARCH, including helping individuals that may need financial assistance to purchase resource materials for programs provided at the center.

Rachel Ring attended the engineering technology program at Presque Isle Tech Center five years ago during her senior year at Caribou High School. At a young age, she developed an interest in design. “I’ve been in love with designing homes since I was 8 years old. I spent much of my free time drawing floor plans for these imaginative families that I created.”
