Houlton gala packs the house for annual awards, fundraiser and meeting

Each year, for more than 30 years, the chamber combines its annual membership meeting with a fundraising gala and community awards ceremony. And for 13 of those years, Chamber Executive Director Jane Torres, other board members and volunteers have been cooking the gala dinner on their own.

Agency on Aging gallery features PI photographer’s work in April

Aroostook Agency on Aging will exhibit the work of Presque Isle  photographer Michael A. Gudreau in April as part of the Artists for Aging initiative. In addition to  framed photographs, the artist will present several digital collections of his images as well as a  display of film era cameras and accessories during an opening reception from 5-8 p.m. Friday,  April 7.
