PRESQUE ISLE, Maine — As the summer draws to a close and the fall season will soon be upon us, plans are well underway for The Aroostook Medical Center’s 2016 health fair. This year will be a departure from how it has been offered in recent years.
PRESQUE ISLE, Maine —The University of Maine at Presque Isle’s TRIO College Access Services Office is strengthening its efforts to help Aroostook County middle- and high-school-age students prepare for and enroll in college — and succeed once they get there — thanks to a $1.2 million competitive grant awarded by the U.S. Department of Education.

Terrence R. Long LONG, Terrence R., 59, Presque Isle, at Bangor, August 31, 2016. There will be no services of any kind and interment will be in Fairmount Cemetery, Presque Isle.
Pauline Isobel Milliken MILLIKEN, Pauline Isobel, 77, Presque Isle, September 3, 2016. In keeping with Poppy’s wishes, a family graveside service will be held in Kincardine at a later date. Arrangements are under the care of Duncan-Graves Funeral Home.
