The creative minds in Maine’s local beer industry, known as craft brewers, continue to build on what is an already thriving part of our state economy. Through their hard work and innovation, these businesses are creating jobs, driving economic development, and attracting beer enthusiasts from around the world to visit Maine.
As a lawmaker and member of the Legislature’s Veterans and Legal Affairs Committee, I see the challenges that Maine’s service members often face when they return home to civilian life. As a veteran, I am committed to policies that help my fellow servicemen and servicewomen make that transition successfully.
Why won’t the government of New Brunswick complete the Watershed Classification process? The New Brunswick process is almost identical with the classification system used in Maine. The system used in Maine would allow NB to effectively co-manage the shared trans-boundary watersheds in the St. Croix and the St. John river basins.
