PRESQUE ISLE, Maine — The University of Maine at Presque Isle Owls played their only home games of the season Saturday, falling in both ends of a softball doubleheader to the Husson University Eagles by scores of 3-0 and 12-2.
PRESQUE ISLE, Maine — The University of Maine at Presque Isle Owls (12-25) swept Central Maine Community College in a doubleheader on Saturday afternoon in Presque Isle. The Owls blanked the winless Mustangs 6-0 in the first game and also won the second, 7-2.
The first local track and field meet this season is set for Friday afternoon, May 6, 2016, at the Johnson Athletic Complex in Presque Isle. The competition will begin at 3:30 p.m., with Caribou, Fort Fairfield, Fort Kent, Houlton, LCS/MSSM and Washburn all expected to compete along with the host Wildcats.
