In recent years our house numbers changed due to the Emergency 9-1-1 system and this allowed us to move without packing a dish. The move without packing also sometimes happened to our ancestors.

They quietly protect our communities, not just because it’s their responsibility, but because these are their communities too. And while it’s easy to take for granted what they do, we must remember the sacrifices and the risk they face every day, and above all, we should take time to thank them for all that they do.
