The Mars Hill Food Cupboard is in need of a special volunteer that can be available on the first Wednesday of each month from 2-5 p.m. for the food delivery. This individual or couple will be responsible for unloading the food products and stocking them on the shelves.

The Salmon Brook Historical Society invites everyone to attend the fourth annual Tea and Quilt Show Sunday, Aug. 7, 2016 to support its two museums, the Benjamin C. Wilder Farmstead and Aroostook Agricultural Museum.
PRESQUE ISLE, Maine — University of Maine System Chancellor James H. Page announced Wednesday, June 29, 2016 that Dr. Raymond J. Rice has been appointed interim president and will remain as provost of the University of Maine at Presque Isle.

HOULTON, Maine — When Tim Brewer ended a championship-laden 15-year run as the boys varsity basketball coach at Central Aroostook High School of Mars Hill in 2015, he did not want to classify it as a retirement.

The Maine Recreation and Parks Association Track and Field North Region Qualifier was held last Tuesday at Caribou High School.
