The Walter T. A. Hansen Memorial Library is getting ready to run its annual tag sale at the former Grew’s store in Mars Hill. We will be open various hours — Saturdays, some evenings, etc. Basically, if there are lights on and cars outside, we’re open.

Wintergreen Arts creates relationships with paint PRESQUE ISLE — The Wintergreen Arts Center brought the “Sip and Paint” craze to Aroostook County in February 2015. At first, it was a fun fundraising event, but the trend has grown into the community.

On Tuesday, July 19 at 7 p.m. SAD 1 will be hosting the second District Budget Meeting. The meeting will be held in the Auditorium of Presque Isle Middle School and will consider the revised budget for SAD 1.
