Rural resident receives her fair share of services

To the editor:
Thank you, Wilfred Martin, for your kind words in last week’s Aroostook Republican. I have lived in Caribou for 34 years — though by choice, not by birth — and during that time Wilfred and I have had opportunities to work together on various issues and budgets. I respect his concern for this community and his efforts to make it a better place.

U.S. Cellular has 4G LTE service in Aroostook

    U.S. Cellular, in conjunction with its partner, King Street Wireless, has announced that Aroostook County residents now have 4G LTE availability. Bike and pedestrian group plans fall fun

    VAN BUREN — The Van Buren Bicycle and Pedestrian Committee will host a month of harvest festivities in Van Buren to coincide with the end of the school’s harvest break, starting with a bicycle rodeo, safety presentation, and parade on Oct. 11 at the old Gateway School parking lot.
