Pelletier takes 11th at state golf event

VASSALBORO, Maine — Katie Pelletier finished her varsity golf career in solid fashion Saturday.
The Caribou High School senior, competing in the individual state championship for the fourth consecutive year, shot an 87 to place 11th out of 50 female competitors at Natanis Golf Course. The girls’ champion was Hashilla Rivai of Thornton Academy in Saco, who shot a blistering 70.
