Rines selected as Mûsterds’ top runner

Chris Rines of Houlton was named the 2014 Aroostook Mûsterds Runner of the Year, an award given annually to the club member exemplifying dedication to the sport through participation, coaching, race directing and giving back to their communities.

Second cattle-handling demonstration added

    The Maine Beef Producers Association and University of Maine Cooperative Extension are sponsoring a second free low-stress cattle-handling demonstration in December.    Curt Pate, National Cattlemen’s Beef Association stockman instructor, will conduct the live demonstrations.
