The Frost Memorial Library in Limestone has recently announced the winner of their “Design our Logo Contest” beginning back in the spring, and according to librarian Jessica Givens, the new logo is now completed and ready to be unveiled to the public.

CARIBOU — The following cases were heard at the Aroostook County Superior Court during the month of October. Dylan Anderson Knoll, 23, Caribou: domestic violence criminal threatening, dismissed; aggravated assault, five years in prison, all but 30 months suspended, and two years’ probation; and criminal mischief, six months in jail.

PRESQUE ISLE, Maine — The Presque Isle Rotary Club is gearing up for its 67th annual Radio and TV Auction, which will be held Tuesday through Thursday, Dec. 2-4. The three-night event will be broadcast live from the Northeastland Hotel by radio on Big Country 97 (96.9) FM and statewide television on Time Warner Channel 9.
CARIBOU, Maine — The Caribou Ski Center project began two years ago and essentially has doubled the size of the existing ski building, located on the campus of Caribou High School.
Rob Kieffer, the building committee chair, said that although it is known as a ski center, the building is utilized by and available to all Caribou sports teams as well as the community.
Preseason basketball tournaments were held in Caribou, Mars Hill and Washburn.
