Giggeys donate treadmill for MSSM students

Getting outside to exercise during the winter months can be difficult, especially in minus-15-degree temperatures. For the Maine School of Science and Mathematics students who live in the dormitory outside of campus called the Manor, it involves traveling to the upper dorm gym fitness room and/or signing up for outdoor activities, such as downhill skiing/snowboarding, cross country skiing and snowshoeing.

Court News

    The Aroostook County Grand Jury completed its second session of 2015 on Feb. 5 and handed down 18 indictments against 16 individuals without any “no bills.”    Those indicted include:     Brandon B. Ross, 30, Winslow: unlawful possession of scheduled drugs.    Jonathan Abbott, 25, Houlton: theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, with priors (two counts).
