Local Catholic endowment to benefit from state funds

    PORTLAND — The Catholic Foundation of Maine recently announced that it will distribute over $890,000 to 97 endowment funds in 2015. The Parish of the Precious Blood, headquartered in Caribou, is earmarked for a share of the funding.

Career fairs get a total makeover

    Aroostook Aspirations Initiative, the University of Maine at Presque Isle, and the University of Maine at Fort Kent are collaborating to put a new spin on career fairs. The County’s first ever “Reverse Career Fair” is scheduled for Thursday, April 16 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Caribou Health and Wellness Center.
