Please do not litter — cats

To the editor:
It is always the season to not litter. Not only is it illegal to litter in Maine, but it is punishable with a hefty fine. This is for the good of the environment as well as the scenic value of our tourist season. I do love seeing this law strictly enforced by our police department.

Charismatic comedian/ magician coming to Caribou

To the editor:
We, the Caribou 2015 Project Graduation Committee, parents and students have held such fundraisers as events on Thursdays on Sweden Street, car washes, a lobster basket raffle, a Rick Charette concert, and a  Marko the Magician show in order to help the costs of this year’s graduating class’ Project Graduation to be held in June.

A community that cares

To the editor:
We have all experienced the three ugly step-sisters, “Coulda, Woulda and Shoulda,” at some point in our lives, but last Tuesday evening local business operators Chris Richards and Judy Drombroski, their employees and local residents stepped up and said “Not in our house,” strong-arming the three nags, replacing them with community, caring and compassion.
