Superhero Party

Contributed photo    The Caribou Public Library recently held a “superhero party” for young readers, hosted by Youth Services Director Katie Wilcox-Bosse. Children attending (not in order) were James McLean, Vladimir Gomez, Samuel Gomez, Abraham Bouchard, Benjamin Bouchard, Amelia Bouchard, Elyza Landeen, Lucas Landeen, Jenny Vejar, David Lewis, Kalee Trombley, Xavier Gomez and Antonio Gomez.

WEGP 1390-AM off the air, negotiations for sale underway

By Scott Mitchell JohnsonStaff Writer     PRESQUE ISLE — Negotiations for the sale of WEGP (1390AM) are currently underway with a potential buyer.    According to WEGP’s website (www.wegp.net), the station has ceased broadcasting, and will remain off the air until the station is sold, and resumes broadcasting under new ownership.

Atlanta company to buy WAGM for $10.25 million
