Coming home

I just returned from Florida after visiting my Mom for two weeks. She turned 90 this year and, thank God, she is still living on her own and doing just fine. And while it was wonderful to see her and sit by the pool and read books, it was just as good to come home.

Local students make U-Maine Dean’s List

ORONO, Maine — The University of Maine recognized 2,163 students for achieving Dean’s List honors in the spring 2015 semester. Of the students who made the Dean’s List, 1,710 are from Maine, 377 are from 31 other states and 76 are from 22 countries other than the U.S.
