Tigers place 10th in state golf tourney

The Fort Fairfield Tigers made their seventh consecutive appearance in the Maine State Team Championships at Natanis Golf Course Saturday, placing 10th in the Class C competition.

Highlights from ‘the Daughters’ history

     During 1951-1960:  A library fund was established; a bookcase was bought and maintained at the library where Catholic books were bought. Prayer books were purchased, money was given to the Catholic Relief, money was donated to the Knights of Columbus to help repair the K of C Hall.  And $1,000 was donated to Holy Rosary Church and Reverend Clement Thibodeau was ordained in 1958, and we served at his reception.
