Camp Adventure wins state award

Weeklong residential camp in its 17th year

     CARIBOU, Maine — Cary Medical Center’s Camp Adventure, a summer camp for children with type 1 diabetes, has received the Maine Public Health Association’s ‘Program of Excellence Award’ for 2015. Tina Harnett Pettingill, executive director of MPHA, made the announcement at the MPHA Annual Conference in Augusta.

     SPRINGFIELD MA. — Colleen M. Heimann, 64, of Springfield, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully at home; surrounded by her loving  family on Wednesday, October 21, 2015.  Born June 29, 1951 in Caribou, Maine, she was the daughter of Everett W. Putnam writes chapter for scholarly publication
