Hire-A-Vet Campaign sees early success with 118 employers on board

     AUGUSTA — More than 100 employers have committed to hiring veterans at the halfway point of the Maine Hire-A-Vet Campaign. The goal of the statewide initiative is to commit at least 100 employers to recruit veterans and with the result of at least 100 veterans hired.

Introduction to Art

     The center is offering an Introduction to Art class Tuesdays from 9:30-11 a.m. and 6-7:30 p.m. through late December. All ages and skill levels are welcome. This class will cover basic drawing skills, with the potential of covering watercolors, acrylics and other mediums, depending on the desires of those in attendance.
