Registration open for next session of swim classes

The Presque Isle Recreation Center is accepting pre-paid registrations through March 25 for the upcoming winter session of classes, that is offered March 28 through May 7 at the University of Maine at Presque Isle’s Gentile Hall. There are openings in the following classes:

Feb. 29 proved to be a bustle of activity for both parents and staff at The Aroostook Medical Center’s A.R. Gould Memorial Hospital as five babies were born during one 12-hour shift.
