PRESQUE ISLE, Maine — The 36th annual UMPI Spring Runoff 5K Road Race will be run this Saturday, April 9, 2016 at 10 a.m. from the campus of the University of Maine at Presque Isle, with walkers beginning at 9:30 a.m.

CARIBOU, Maine — City officials recently announced the funding for facade improvement grants and slum and blight removal. This is a new program for the municipality which is funded through the Downtown TIF District. As such, all projects must be located within the Downtown TIF District. For 2016 the City has set aside $50,000 for each program.
