Teens sleep outside to feel plight of homeless

     MADAWASKA, Maine — Recently, members of the youth ministry group at Notre Dame du Mont Carmel Parish in Madawaska held their annual box-a-thon to help bring home the plight of the homeless.

Ludlow officer named 2015 Deputy Sheriff of the Year

     PORTLAND, Maine — The Maine Sheriffs’ Associations’ (MSA’s) annual conference and awards banquet was held March 24, at the Holiday Inn by the Bay in Portland. At this banquet two members of the Aroostook County Sheriff’s Office and two citizens from northern Maine received awards.
