After owning the Aroostook Centre Mall for just over a year, Presque Isle developer Dana Cassidy is hatching more big plans.
The new store will be the company’s only site north of its Dover-Foxcroft headquarters.
He aims to draw attention to this route that traverses parts of the U.S., Canada and Europe and could potentially bring more tourists to Aroostook County.
The annual event is slated for Wednesday, July 31 through Sunday, Aug. 4 at the Northern Maine Fairgrounds in Presque Isle.
The parade is one of Maine’s largest and is the culmination of the weeklong Fort Fairfield festival.
The $30,000 will cover the cost of the dog, training, outfitting a cruiser and other associated expenses,
Don Flannery was honored for 27 years of leadership with the Maine Potato Board.
Cyr Martin will leave the post Aug. 8 but will stay on as police chief until Dec. 31.
The airport will use the Department of Transportation grant to upgrade its paved terminal area in preparation for larger jet service.
