PRESQUE ISLE – Phillip J. Morrow, 53, died unexpectedly on Sept. 17, 2009, at a local hospital. He was born in Limestone on Feb. 14, 1956, the son of Renie and Margaret (LaPlante) Morrow.
He served in the U.S. Marines. Phillip worked as a janitor at the Aroostook Centre Mall in Presque Isle. He enjoyed riding dirt bikes, gardening, fishing, and watching TV.
He is survived by his companion, Carol Olson of Presque Isle; six sisters, Theresa Welch of Edwardsville, Ill., Janet Vienneau of Washburn, Stella Hislop of Coram, MT, Margaret Barnum of Fredericksburg, VA, Marie Andrle of Clifton, and Anne Morrow of Bangor; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2009, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Presque Isle with the Rev. Raymond Morency officiating. Relatives and friends called 9 a.m. Tuesday at the Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church St., Presque Isle until time of departure for the Mass.
