FORT FAIRFIELD — Dennis Harmon, a 17-year veteran of the U.S. Border Patrol, became the Houlton Sector’s newest patrol agent in charge (PAIC) of the Fort Fairfield Border Patrol station.
PAIC Harmon began his career with the Border Patrol in 1992, entering on duty in Calexico, Calif. In January 1996, he transferred to the El Centro Border Patrol station in El Centro, Calif., as a K-9 handler. He was promoted to senior patrol agent (SPA) in March 1998 at the Campo Border Patrol station in Campo, Calif.
Harmon
In July 2001, Harmon transferred to the Houlton Border Patrol Station. He continued his K-9 and patrol assignments until September 2006, when he was promoted to supervisory Border Patrol agent at the Houlton station.
Harmon was raised in the State of Maine and graduated from the University of Maine in December 1989. He brings years of experience from the southern and northern borders, along with his familiarity with Maine, to his new leadership position at the Fort Fairfield station.
