To the editor:
This year the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots of Northern Aroostook County was able to deliver over 3,000 toys to over 2,600 children. We would like to extend a special thank you to the Subways restaurants of Ft. Kent and Madawaska who creatively used dress down days to raise money to donate to the Christmas Campaign.
We would also like to thank those who were able to make donations, in the form of toys or monies, and the businesses that allowed us to place collection bins in their facilities. Donations are accepted year round by my wife and I, and are not only used for Christmas, but also to provide toys and book to families who suffer loss due to fires or floods throughout the year.
