Mall’s new policy misguided

To the editor:
    This is a response to the Mall’s new policy in their Food Court. They do not want people sitting and socializing in the Food Court. Shame on you!
    I ask you what harm is it in letting our senior citizens and veterans sit and talk during any given day. Do you not realize that for some of these folks it’s the only time they see other people? Yes, you say they can sit in the green benches in the walkway — how nice! I say “Let them be”, they aren’t hurting anyone. If the court is busy, they would leave and believe me, I’ve never seen it that busy, only for some special occasion.
    If you continue on this policy, I’m sure you will be losing business to other places but that’s your choice.
