Evans, Ruby O. (Garrison), 98, died March 19, 2007 at a Presque Isle healthcare facility. Arrangements are in the care of Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, Presque Isle.      PRESQUE ISLE – Ruby O. Evans, 98, died March 19, 2007 at a Presque Isle health-care facility. She was born in Pelham, Georgia on October 31, 1908, the daughter of James S. and Lee Z. (Creech) Oliver.
    She had been employed by New England Telephone Company and was a life member of the Telephone Pioneers of America. Mrs. Evans was a life member and Past Matron of Lunar Chapter #126 Order of Eastern Star and Past Grand Noble of the Rebecca Lodge. She will be remembered by many friends and her Eastern Star Family.
    She was predeceased by her first husband Lawrence Garrison in 1973 and her second husband Richard Evans in 1986.
    Funeral services were held 10:00 AM Saturday at the Duncan-Graves Funeral Home with the Rev. David Williams and Officers and Members of Lunar Chapter #126 officiating. A spring interment will be in the Fairmount Cemetery. Condolences may be expressed at www.duncan-graves.com.
