Track team ends season at state championship in MDI

    At Mount Desert Island on June 6, high school track and field athletes met to compete in the Maine State Championship track meet.
    Representing Aroostook County’s Eastern Maine Class B were the Presque Isle and Caribou track teams.
    Highlighting the Presque Isle team was Lucas Richards, who had a 106-05 throw in the javelin to take second place, trailing just behind Caribou’s Nate Swan, whose first throw was 165-04 to give the Viking an early and personal best first place finish.
