LIMESTONE & PRESQUE ISLE – Jacob Douglas Caldwell, 19, passed away due to a boating accident in Presque Isle on May 11, 2014. Jacob was born October 14, 1994, the son of Brian and Bernetta “Deedee” Caldwell.
Jacob was employed by Northeast Packaging Co. He enjoyed all the outdoor sports northern Maine had to offer.
Jacob is survived by his parents, Brian of Limestone and Deedee of Presque Isle and her partner, Todd Tompkins; one brother, Joshua Caldwell and fiancé, Kayla Hartley of Limestone; one sister, Abby Gauvin; both grandmothers, Ann Caldwell of Limestone and Shirley Bell of Andover, N.B.; as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins; a best friend, Cheyenne Sutherland; and his dog, “Meathead”.
He was predeceased by both his grandfathers, Gerald Caldwell and Roland Dionne.
Friends may call at the Faye Funeral Home, 5 Erskine Street, Presque Isle, from 4 – 6 p.m., Thursday, May 15, 2014. Funeral services will follow at 6 p.m. from the chapel of the funeral home with Pastor Ellen Cleaves and Sue Brown, officiating.
