ACES ALL AROUND – Four aces were displayed on the gate at the entrance to the T. Gerhig Johnson Athletic Complex at the Presque Isle Middle School. The cards were created for ACES day, or All Students Exercising Simultaneously, a national event led by the Youth Fitness Coalition. At the middle school, Brian Cronin led the event and offered ultimate frisbee, track walking, soccer or capture the flag. Students in grades 6-8 took part in ACES day during the early afternoon on May 13 by participating in various activities together.
