The 26th Annual C-Me-Ski race, sponsored by the Limestone Cross-Country Ski Club and Friends of the National Wildlife Refuge, will be held Saturday, Feb. 15, from 12-4 p.m. at the refuge in Limestone. The event is open to all ages and ability levels. The cost is free for youth, with a $10 donation requested for adults. Registration will begin at noon, and all participants will meet in the parking lot of the refuge office/visitor service center.
Race times are 1 p.m. for youth, weather permitting, and 1:30 for adults. The course will vary in length from 2 kilometers for those up to age 13, 7K for teens 13-18, and 21K for adults.
The awards ceremony will start at about 3 p.m.
