Family bingo and outdoor activities
A family bingo and outdoor activities day will be held on Sunday, Jan. 26 at the Caribou Country Club from 1-3 p.m. Come ski, snowshoe or slide or play family bingo. Everyone is welcome. Hot chocolate and goodies will be available for a fee. Pre-registration is required to help us with estimating game and food quantities.

Family Fun Night moved to March 2
The family fun night will now be held on Sunday, March 2 from 2-4 p.m. at the Caribou Wellness and Recreation Center. Join us for a moving, fun night with inflatables, games, music and more. Admission is $5 per family.
Proceeds will benefit future wellness center programs. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Everyone is welcome.
Youth ski rental program offered
The Northern Skiers Club and the Caribou Parks and Recreation Department have partnered to bring the Youth Ski Rental Program back to Caribou for all Caribou youth. This year seasonal rentals will be available for all Caribou youths and includes skis, boots, poles and a carrier for a fee of $60 plus a $20 refundable deposit upon the return of the equipment in the spring.

Men’s 30-and-over basketball
Men’s 30-and-over basketball meets Tuesdays from 7-9 p.m. and Sundays from 10 a.m.-noon through April 20, 2014. The program is designed for gentlemen 30 years of age and over and meets at the Caribou Wellness and Recreation Center gym. There is a $3 fee per person during the Sunday session.
Kids’ playgroup offered Wednesdays
The recreation department will provide gym space for parents and toddlers. This is a self-guided program which meets Wednesdays from 9:30-11:30 a.m. Participants can bring toys. Please no black rubber-wheeled toys. Please check posted schedules for activities that may result in the cancellation of this open time.
Ladies’ pick-up basketball meets Sundays
On Sunday evenings from 6-8 p.m., a ladies’ basketball program is being offered at the Caribou Wellness and Recreation Center. The fee is $3 for each participant. For more information, call 493-4224.
Youth basketball
The boys grade 5 and 6 basketball program meets on Tuesday, Thursdays and some Fridays from 3-5 p.m. The girls’ basketball program for grades 4-6 meets on Mondays, Wednesdays and some Fridays from 3-5 p.m. The fee for this program is $10 per child. Contact the recreation center to sign up.
Adult dodgeball tournament planned
This tournament will be held on Saturday, Jan. 18 at the Caribou Wellness and Recreation Center. Format will be round robin with points given for wins to determine seeding for tournament play.
