CARIBOU – Nelson J. Chaloult, 84, died December 5, 2013, at his North Caribou residence. He was born in Caribou on February 2, 1929, the son of the late Adelard and Eugenie (Daigle) Chaloult.
He was a graduate of Caribou High School and was a member of the Sacred Herat Catholic Church. Mr. Chaloult was a self-employed farmer and potato grower on the family farm in North Caribou for many years.
He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Theresa and Richard Levesque of Wolfeboro, NH; several nieces and nephews. Mr. Chaloult was predeceased by his parents and his brother Msgr. Gilman Chaloult.
A mass of Christian burial was celebrated 11 a.m. Tuesday, December 10, 2013, from the Parish of the Precious Blood, Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Fr. Emile Dube officiating.
