Stuart W. Calway, 72, a resident of Ellsworth, died at Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor on Tuesday, October 15 after a lengthy illness. He was the loving husband of the late Linda D. (Garrison) Calway. Born and raised in Holbrook, MA, he was educated in Holbrook schools. He was a resident of Maine for the past 36 years.
Stuart is survived by his loving children, Adam Fitzherbert of Surry, Kimberly Flynn and her husband, Sean, and William Calway, all of Brick, NJ, as well as his loving grandchildren, Andrea and Spencer of Maine. He was the beloved brother of Christina Landolfi and her husband, Richard, Pamela Godwin and her husband, Donald, Priscilla Evans and her husband, Bill, and Virginia Calway, all of MA, Alice Griffin and her husband, Mike, of CA, and the late Ralph Calway and Emily Sansom. He is also survived by many beloved nieces and nephews.
