CARIBOU – Doris S. Lagasse, 84, passed away on Sunday, October 6, 2013, at her home in Caribou. Doris was born in St. Agatha on March 16, 1929, the daughter of Adelard and Edith (Guerette) Brisette.
Doris is survived by her children and their spouses, James and Brenda Lagasse, Sandra Lagasse, Steve and Ann Lagasse, and Diane Lagasse Alexander; her grandchildren, Daniel and Christopher Stairs, Emily Atchison, Meagan, Blake, Erik, Stewart, Luke and Lance Lagasse; and her great-granddaughters, Caty Stairs and Emilia Atchison.
In addition to her parents, Doris was predeceased by her husband, Emile; and her son, Richard Lagasse.
A celebration of Doris’ life will begin with a mass from 2 – 2:30 p.m., Friday, October 11, 2013, at Lancaster Morgan Funeral Home, 11 Clover Street, Caribou. To honor Doris, family and friends are encouraged to share memories from her life from 2:30 – 3:30 p.m. A reception will follow at the funeral home.
