O’Bar, Jemmala L., 34, June 23, 2013. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 1 p.m. on July 6, 2013, at St. Louis Catholic Church, Parish of the Precious Blood, with calling hours from noon until the time of mass. Interment to follow in the St. Louis Cemetery.
CASWELL – Jemmala O’Bar, 34, passed away June 23, 2013, at a Bangor Hospital. She was born October 1, 1978, in Cincinnati, Ohio the daughter of Henry G. and Adelma (Merrill) O’Bar.
Jemmala graduated from Limestone High School, and attended the Penobscot Job Corp and the Loring Job Corp. She loved to cook and sew for her family and friends. Jemmala enjoyed arts, crafts and donating gifts. Her computer skills were enjoyed by her facebook friends and family.
Jemmala was predeceased by her father Henry. She is survived by her mother Adelma; her sisters, Oleka O’Bar, Nicole Harris, Nancy O. Gallagher, Charlene Leonardi, Elizabeth Coates and Holly Ready; her brothers, Edmund, Dale, Kevin, Scott, Oscar, Marcial, and Chad O’Bar; Jemmala’s significant other, Timothy St. Peter; and many nieces and nephews.
A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 1 p.m., July 6, 2013, at St. Louis Catholic Church, Parish of the Precious Blood. Relatives and friends are welcome to call from 12 p.m. until time of mass. Committal prayers will be at St. Louis Cemetery following the mass. Relatives and friends are invited to share in conversation and refreshments in the parish hall, following committal prayers.
