CARIBOU — Robert Tomlinson took the checkered flag in the outlaw sportsman division at Spud Speedway Sunday afternoon.
Tomlinson outraced runner-up Dillon MacDougal and third-place finisher Jason Levesque across the finish line for the victory.
In the Fast Fours event, Keith Thibeau Jr. claimed the win, followed by Nate Haney and Matt Lloyd.
JR Howlett was first in the street stock category, placing ahead of Jon Dixon and Matt Pellitier.
John Craig came out on top in the challenger series, while Donald Rideout won in Northern Lights, with Wayne Fox the runner-up and Zane Grant taking third.
In the senior champ karts event, Tom Hale raced to the win ahead of Tyler Raymond, while Gage Theriault captured the kids kart series.
A full card of racing is planned at the Caribou race track tonight beginning at 7 p.m. A 50-lap outlaw sportsman race will highlight the action and a huge fireworks show will follow racing.
On Sunday, July 7 at 1 p.m. is the first of three Days of Destruction, featuring a demolition derby, bomber racing, tuff trucks, farm truck racing, side-by-side UTV racing, a bag race, a chain race, a burnout contest and a race-your-neighbor event.
