Blvd. Graphix wins championship

    The Caribou Men’s Basketball League crowned its champion May 15, with Blvd. Graphix defeating the Road Runners, 72-54, in the title game.
    Greg Whitaker powered the winners with 37 points, while teammate Alan Campbell tossed in 18.

    Cameron York was the high scorers for the Road Runners with 28 points. Greg Palm and Paul West added 11 and 10, respectively.
    The two teams also met May 13, with the Road Runners winning, 71-69, to force the “if necessary” game. In that game, York had 33 and West 19 to lead the Road Runners, while Whitaker had 33, Jordan Haines 12 and Luke Bartlett 11 for Blvd. Graphix.

Youth running camp begins Thursday at CHS

    CARIBOU — Youth who would like to learn more about running and other facets of fitness will have an opportunity to do so by attending Little Musterds Running Camp, which is being held on behalf of the Aroostook Musterds Running Club over seven weeks beginning Thursday, June 6.
    The camp is for boys and girls currently in grades 3-7.
    Every session of the running camp will take place at the Caribou High School track.            The program will meet June 6 and 13 from 3:30-5 p.m. and on June 20 and 27 and July 2, 11 and 18 from 3-4:30 p.m. The cost is $5 per session or $30 for all seven sessions.
