Pokémon game club
The next meeting of the Pokémon game club at the Caribou Wellness and Recreation Center will be on Friday, May 31 from 3:15-5 p.m.
13-15 baseball league
Applications for the 2013 Northern Maine 13-15 baseball league are now available at the Caribou Wellness and Recreation Center. A player who was on a team in 2012 must register again to participate for the 2013 season. The registration form, a copy of the youth’s birth certificate and the $25 players fee must be submitted to the recreation center by June 7.

Summer program registration
The dates for the summer programs registration is Wednesday, June 12 from 6-8 p.m. for residents and Thursday, June 13 from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. for residents and non-residents. Program booklets have gone to grades Pre-K through grade 8 in Caribou schools.
Any homeschooler or non-resident may pick up a program booklet at the Caribou Parks and Recreation Center office. You may also view the program booklet on Facebook or our web page at www.caribourec.org.
CRX (Caribou Rec Extreme)
Registrations are now being accepted for the summer youth CRX Take Me Outside programs.
Week 1 is whitewater rafting for youths going into grades 6-9 and runs from June 19-21. The fee is $150 for residents and $175 for non-residents.
Week 2 is Allagash Wilderness Waterway for youths going into grades 6-9 and meets June 25-27. The fee is $75 for residents and $100 for non-residents.
Week 3 is kayaking introduction for grades 5-7 and meets July 8-11. The fee is $35 for residents and $60 for non-residents.
Week 4 is kayaking pros for grades 6-9 and runs from July 15-18. The fee is $35 for residents and $60 for non-residents.
Week 5 is wild outdoor women at Acadia National Park for grades 6-9 and runs from July 23-25. The fee is $200 for residents and $225 for non-residents.
Week 6 is mountain biking for grades 6-9 and runs from July 29-Aug. 1. The fee is $35 for residents and $60 for non-residents.
Week 7 is Baxter State Park I for grades 8-9 and runs Aug. 6-8.
Week 8 is Baxter State Park II for grades 6-7 and runs Aug. 13-15.
The fee for the Baxter trips is $75 for residents and $100 for non-residents. Pre-registration is required for these trips since space is limited.
